This beautiful town surprises me with something new and wonderful every time I visit. Our first night in town we visited a lovely queer coffee shop right next door to IBT's and had some of the best chicken soup ever. (can't remember it's name tho!)
Here are some pictures from Tucson Pride. (parade and festival)
I think one of my favorite moments was picking up Novice Sister Heidi O'Semeeose, one of the latest manifestations of Novice Sister Odora, who was radiant in pink and passed out a SLEW of Skittles as Sister Blessings to all. Heidi has GOT to come out of the closet more often. Taste the Rainbow!
Atopa and 3M, where are all your pictures?!?! Of course there were too many good times captured with B'neatha Sheets and Oralee Sunshine at the festival later to count.
Waiting for the Parade to start, we were photographed, interviewed and recorded by everyone and their brother, including the Channel 9 news, and a lovely Bear named Mike.
Outside the festival we ran into a ton of friends, new and old. But my favorite memory while sitting by the gate, was meeting a fabulous faery from San Fransisco, who was drumming for cash, so she could get into the event and volunteer for the local gay youth group, EON. I decided to take up a collection, and this amazing man named Sean donated more than enough so she was also able to have lunch. I hope you find your way back to San Fransisco soon sweet faery. And blessings all over your wonderful self Sean! Now that's family.
