Holiday Blessings

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words ............

May 2008 be the best year of your life!!!

BLESSINGS TO ALL

Mary XXXmas!

Happy Chanakwansolstimas everybody! And Festivus for the restofus!

I had a blast at Kobalt last night for the Food Drive, and it turns out there was also a drag show! Who knew! We collected lots of cans for St Mary's Food Bank, and then headed over to Friends to cheer on some other drag queens, and then to Genny's for munchies of course. I've got my ruler and am enjoying the seasons's beatings, and I hope you are too. (you can see more about the evening on the azsisters livejournal at http://azsisters.livejournal.com/17800.html)

Now go do something naughty!

Keep on, Keep on, Keep On Folding!

The Paper Crane Project had a productive day yesterday! 4 people learned how to fold a paper crane and joined in the fun, and others learned new tips and tricks to help them fold more successfully! About 60 paper cranes were added to the box, and I recieved an email today telling me 300 more are on their way to be dropped off at 1VCC!

Thanks to Tim from Alternatives Cafe for keeping us well fed and warm and toasty. I always love hanging out at the Alternatives Cafe.

Hundreds of paper cranes folded, and hundreds to go! So keep on folding people, and drop those cranes by 1 VCC at the Alternatives Cafe. 4314 N. 7th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85013

World AIDS Day Memories

A few pictures from the night before, and the day of World AIDS Day. It was a busy couple of days. Touching and educational.

I enjoyed dancing at ZGirls and Karumba for the World AIDS Day Pre-Party, we have GOT to go back there!

I hope you all had a wonderful day December 1st celebrating the lives of those still with us, and remembering those we've lost.

My favorite parts of World AIDS Day were spending time with friends at the Carnegie Center, painting our hands at the Bookman's booth, folding cranes while socializing at 1VCC, and listening to people share their stories at the United Church of Christ afterwards.

You can see more pictures at the Grand Canyon Sister's Flickr Page

And if you didn't then, and haven't in a while, remember to get tested so you and your partners are aware of your status. Stay safe out there, play fair, and have fun!
