Novice Sister Felicity N. Debaucheri has brought nights of Joy Ministry back into our house, and oh how joyful it's been!Just this Friday we went down to Amsterdams, First Friday and ended over by 1 Voice Community Center on Indian School and 7th for a HUGE Drum Circle complete with Poi Spinners and people breathing flames. Our Aspirant Fire was right at home!
As the Grand Canyon Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, our mission is to promulgate universal joy and expiate stigmatic guilt. Or as it says on my tattoo, all joy, all love, no guilt! Because we are an organization who often raises funds for various non profits, we are thought of as a charity group, and sometimes people forget that spreading joy is key to our mission. I've enjoyed going out with Novice Felicity and the other Sisters and various up and coming GLBT nuns on the town.
I fully enjoyed my time at the drum circle and intend to go back as often as possible on first fridays!
